Lay down your head and close your eyes
Feel what I have to say.
Turning the lights off so you are blind to what is to come.
Walk into a dream with me.
Don't mind the screams
after all, It is only a dream,
No need to flee
But make no mistake, you aren't free.
Here I lay,
Every time. I open my eyes and i'm back there again.
I hear the snakes scales sliding across the concrete as it approaches
The slight hissing sound slithers through my ears as he encroaches.
my body is paralyzed but not numb.
I can feel everything that is about to happen.
The mouth opens up and starts to take me.
I can feel each puncture of his fangs as he inches his way up
The muscles in his body contracting and releasing each time
swallowing me with each second
I can feel the acid against my leg as it starts to dissolve me.
No use fighting, I can't move.
I can do nothing but scream as I move my eyes and see his slit eyes glaring back up at me.
Each time his fangs punch through my skin I can feel the poison enter into me.
Causing me to scream louder
the burning of the acid moving up my body and the poison coursing through it.
My lungs are punctured and I start to gasp for air as blood fills my chest cavity.
Each breath begins to be shallower and shallower.
My heart is racing faster as the oxygen starts to be depleted from my blood and its starts to suffocate with the rest of my body.
Each organ shutting down but not before the Acid from the snakes body eats at the liner of them.
Fire racing through my body
Blood oozing from it.
Air unable to enter it.
Screams bursting out.
My heart begins to slow and my breaths are short infantile attempts at holding onto this life.
Fetal attempts at remembering what breathing really felt like.
His mouth opens up and I see the poison from his fangs drip down and cover my throat.
One more bite and im gone.
I accept my fate and thank God that it is over.
The pain will be over shortly.
The lights are out. I hear nothing and feel nothing.
The snake turns itself around and meets its end.
Without hesitation he begins to swallow his tail. One inch after the other.
My body nothing but globs of flesh inside him
A repeating cycle.
Birth from death
Death from birth.
It is over.
My eyes open up and I am in bed.
It was only a dream.
A dream I have over and over again.
One that I can not escape from.
Like the snake eating itself,
Time is nothing but a circle.
A repeating cycle
What has happened, will happen again.
There is no changing this fact
There is no hiding from it because in the end, will be the beginning
and thus the end will follow.
So I wake and begin my day knowing that when it ends,
I will be dying again tonight and be reborn in the morning
Only to restart the cycle.
The ones who try to end it their own way with a bullet or rope
Only find that they wake up again as a youth and the terror of realizing that once again,
the end brings the beginning and thus, the end will begin all over again.
