Is America the greatest Country in the world?

Thats where we are going to start this post at. But first...

Hey readers, I’m glad you're back and I hope that so far you are enjoying these posts and rambles and memories that I have been sharing with you. I enjoy sharing memories that I have stored in my head as well as lately I have been able to write and remember memories that I forgot I even had from times that are long forgotten and or blurry yet, somehow, they are being almost, “upscaled” as they would say in the digital editing world. So that I can see what I thought was lost in the details. Thats alway a good feeling.

Anyway, let's get to todays reading shall we?

Is America the greatest country in the world?

I can hear it now off in the distance like a yodeling echo

“Merica!”

“Fuck yeah!”

“Get some!”

“Two time Champ!”

“Its soccer not Football”

“Red White and Fuck you!”

“Guns! 2A!!!”

But none of those are reasons why America is the greatest country in the world. If anything, it makes us the funniest country in the world. Is that an accomplishment? Is that what Our four fathers wanted for the country? Hell, Is that what he Native Americans wanted for this land? Their land to be fair. To be the worlds laughing stock?

I don’t think so if we are being completely real here. Yet, why Is it that when you go to a different country the first thing they will say is that Americans are fat, Loud, wasteful, arrogant.

Why is it not, Wow I’m jealous of their freedoms and I wish I had what they had!

The sad truth is that we, as United States of America, are not the greatest country in the world.

“But listen here bub, you don’t think that then you can leave the country because fuck you!”

“How unamerican of you!”

Well sure, you could say I could leave the country but then you would go into denying me my rights as a citizen of free speech and the right to live here if I so choose because I was born here to American Service members and in fact my blood is not just European settlers but also Native American. So I have every right to be here and judge the state of this country.

But let me explain in FACTS why we are not the greatest country, before I go into opinion.

Shall we?

According to USnews who took the worlds economies over a variety of metrics and scored them against each other and these are the top five countries in the world according to OVERALL score. We will go into specifically USA after.

1. Switzerland

2. Germany

3. Canada

4. United States

5. Sweden

Now that we got that part out of the way and we can clearly see according to comparing all the metrics we are about to discuss, against all the other countries, the winner is still not United States.

But what are these metrics that are being compared? Probably some bullshit that china created right?

Wrong…

We will take #1 Switzerland and put it in contrast with USA below.

GDP (S. Or Switzerland) 813$Billion

GDP (USA) 23.0$ Trillion

GDP per Capita (S) 57,928$

GDP per Capita (USA) 69,288$

Population (S) 8.70 MILLION

Population (USA) 322 MILLION

Big difference there right? The population is incredibly higher in America than it is in Switzerland yet our GDP per capita is only 11,360$ higher than Switzerland. Our GDP is laughably higher too. Of course our GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is gonna be higher, we have a massive import/export infrastructure for all over the world.

No rival there of course.

Now let’s look at the other factors measured:

Adventure

Agility

Cultural Influence

Entrepreneurship

Heritage

Movers

Open For Business

Power

Quality of Life

Social Purpose

These are the other categories that our countries are being judged on.

Ill provide a link at the bottom for you to go through each and read about what they all mean but i’m going to pick three things that stand out to me about these categories that, I mean, I think as Greatest country in the World, The USA should have been a no brainer….But yet…Are we top dog? No. Far from it.

1) Quality of Life

2) Social Purpose

3) Open For Business

Let’s get the boring one out of the way first, Open for business. This is only stating that looking at a business stand point of taxes and benefit analysis, United States is ranked #53 while Switzerland is ranked # 1. Shouldn’t the number 1 ranked country in the world be ranked number one for businesses to want to come there and spread their goods to the American people? No. In fact our national tax for Federal tax is 21%. While in Switzerland its 7.7% and hotels at 3.7, Books and food industries at 2.5% and medical, education and cultural services are Tax exempt! In the land of the free and home of the brave, 21% is minimum for business to pay for federal tax. Not looking at small business here)

So taxes for businesses are extremely different and that makes a huge difference when it comes to jobs available, money spent on hiring people, payroll, bonuses, etc.

Now, Let’s talk about Social purpose.

“A country’s citizens can rally around certain causes they feel strongly about: human rights, the environment and religious freedom, to name a few. Support for these causes can create a sense of cultural cohesion within countries, and help their people identify as having a shared sense of purpose. These countries are seen as being the most progressive, inclusive and committed to social justice.”

We in America scream about social justice and Injustice in the courts, and police brutality, racism and government oppression. You see it every day on the media. They scream at each other and say you’re wrong if you think this way and you’re a bigot if you believe this and you’re a piece of shit if you stand with that side. And the list goes on. Then riots happen because “peaceful protests” are turned into mobs of criminals when someone touches a cop and its arrested so now its the police officers fault that this “peaceful protest” turned into a massive riot with guns and Molotovs and gas….Why were there guns and Molotovs there in the first place with gas masks? Why were you prepared for that when you are just protesting which is absolutely allowed as long as you aren’t blocking traffic or hurting anyone. DON’T TOUCH COPS. Don’t be a fucking idiot. I just don’t understand that. Why would you touch the person who you hate and who can easily WITHIN THEIR RIGHT arrest you and ruin your life?

I digress before I get on another tangent.

We scream about these rights and these injustices and people are behind you and you see change right?! Most the time , wrong! You have the country divided and then divided again by the extremist and then you have a breeding ground for extremist groups to take charge and run the narrative (left and right wing).

The score given to America for Social purpose, the thing we should be striving to achieve, a PURPOSE FOR ALL OF US TO STAND BEHIND AND FIGHT FOR!

#18 in the world. 18….That is a sad sad fact. We are number 18 in the world for social purpose. You know the highest level we have had? 9/11. When 9/11 happened we as a country banded together and waged war on Afghanistan and Iraq and that last 20 years. A war that lasted 2 decades because we as a people, a nation, were so upset, saddened, supportive and determined to make the wrong, right. Was it right? That’s for another time. But we could have had a number 1 spot that period in our history. But it’s 2023 and we are divided as hell and it’s embarrassing. From all angles that you look at it, everyone wants rights for their own battles and everyone is willing to die on their hill to fight for it but won’t lift a finger to fight for one that would domino effect and help theirs. No way.

Switzerland? Ranked number 8. Sweden is ranked number 1.

Now…Quality of Life. Let’s talk about the biggest factor I believe that effects us as citizens in the nation.

“Beyond the essential ideas of broad access to food, housing, quality education, health care and employment, quality of life may also include intangibles such as job security, political stability, individual freedom and environmental quality. Through all phases of life, these countries treat their citizens well.”

These countries treat their citizens well. Read that one more time. These countries treat their citizens well. How’s that inflation? How’s that tax increase? How’s the job security? How much does it cost for eggs again in 2023? Tell me about your health care system? Please let me know how much your house payment is and the space you got for the price you paid. And last but not least…Tell me, oh god bless him, please tell me about your education. K-12 and college.

We as Americans are fucking stupid a lot of the time. We are so closed minded and ignorant to the ways of the world. Prime example? Look at 9/11. What did America do? Hate all muslims (and Indians because they don’t know the difference) and treat them as actual terrorist. WW2? Japanese, welcome to your camp. Where if you make it out alive, you’ll go back to your home and it’ll be ransacked, vandalized oh and your home country…Nuked by the equivalent of 15,000 Pounds of TNT. All because the American people believed that that all Japanese were the enemy, just like 2001 with muslims (and Indians)

The education system in America is flawed in so many ways. We all know it. And if you say its not, you are hiding under a rock or maybe you’re sucking your professor off and don’t want to get a bad grade. Hahah. Either way, we can tell its flawed.

We are ranked number 21 when it comes to quality of life. In the world America, the home of the free because of the brave, is ranked number 21 in the world for quality of life. Isn’t that just some shit? Wow. Thats just the average too. Hahaha. We aren’t even going to go into, veterans treatment by the government, Minority groups in America, and now a days, the treatment of Police, White men, Straight individuals and supporters of trump. Haha. The President of the united states literally spews hate towards Trump so people that support trump are getting hate on by the supporters of Joe Biden. Trans activists are spewing hate about “Cis” or straight people for not “accepting” them or wanting children to be castrated until the age of 18. We can’t buy nicotine till 21 in most states if not all by now, and you want to cut off balls and allow surgeries that are going to completely redesign a human at single digit age? Okay…we will come to this at a later date im sure. Gay rights activists are fighting for their rights BUT I will say, LGB groups have been peaceful and in my opinion, respectful. The Don’t ask don’t tell policy was over turned, marriages were allowed and legal, adopting and fostering children allowed and legal, these are all great things for people that just want to live their life the way they want and just wanted simple rights to be able to do that. Nothing crazy or off the wall. Just basic human rights and the right to marry who they want and start a family. Aint nothing wrong with that!

Activist groups calling on race to divide us more even though…the ones screaming racism, are literally being racist…In turn….making them the racist people, but if you say anything about it, you’re a racists…do you see what I'm saying?

There is a massive issue in this country and the more “woke” we get the more ignorant we get.

The quality of life for Switzerland is number 4 in the world. Can you guess # 1? You guessed it, Sweden.

These are the three biggest things I think that matter in the country. And we aren’t even close to the top.

What are we Number 1 in? Gots to be something…Right? Right.

Entrepreneurship! Everyone can start a business and be the lion of the jungle and be the best thing since Nike was created. Everyone is going to start the next big company and be the biggest and baddest and most elite there ever was! At least you can think that and you can try! We are Number 1 in that!

We are also Number 1 in people in prison per capita.

We have the most populated prison system in the world. We incarcerate more than any other country! Good bad or ugly, its still a number 1 spot sucka!!

Also defense spending. We spend more than the next 5 countries combined on defense spending. We also don’t even just spend money on our own defense budget…we add in money to OUR budget, to spend on Ukraines support. Over 80 Billion USD worth of money, armament and supplies sent to Ukraine to fight the war against Russia. Not our war, theirs.

How many veterans are without support? How many active duty personnel aren’t getting medical help for their issues and getting forced out? How many issues do we have inside our ranks in the military that can be fixed with a better use of budget, Training, mold problem, gear, leadership!

But we spend the most on Defense than anyone in the world because we are always supporting other countries and their battles. Ukraine and Russia is NOT our battle, but finically it is now.

Is America the greatest country in the world?

The simple answer is No. Thats not me saying Fuck this place. Not at all. This is me asking a question and answering it with facts (above) and opinion to fight for and find the answer.

No we are not the greatest country in the world and to fight that you will be fighting an idea and not a fact. And if you look at 20 years of fighting an idea in Afghanistan or the Idea that Iraq has WMDs, you will know that you are wrong and not going to win that fight.

Does that mean we aren’t a great country? Absolutely not. We have so many opportunities and freedoms and possibilities for betterment in this country!

But to say we are the greatest country in the world…is a lie and ignorant.

To say other countries don’t have the SAME freedoms and rights….is also, ignorant.

Also…Its football everywhere in the world…everywhere….except America. Get over it.
